NATIONAL DOWN SYNDROME CONGRESS

This year I will attend the NDSC Convention in Orlando, FL., July 20th- July 23rd, and I will have my books and autograph them in the Exhibit Hall! I am also looking forward to attending the Advocacy Boot Camp to learn better how to advocate for myself and others that have Down syndrome and other disabilities.

Auburn Early Education Center

I spoke at the Pep Rally for the Auburn Early Education Center on Thursday, April 27th in Auburn Alabama at 8:00 am. I enjoyed talking about friendship and inclusion and how to be a good friend! And of course, I always love talking about my book ALMOST TWINS and how that adventure started.

Principal Mr. Matt Brunner invited me to speak to the AEEC Pep Rally today!

ALABAMA BEST BUDDIES FRIENDSHIP WALK

Everyone join #Team Anna for the 2023 Alabama Best Buddies Friendship Walk at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham ,Al. It took place on Saturday, April 22nd from 10 am to 1 pm. You can register and join my team ( totally FREE) and walk with us to promote friendship and inclusion. You will also get exercise and have FUN!

As Champion of the Year, it will be my pleasure to assist with handing out the awards to chapters and students for raising the most money! Please consider walking with us because EVERYONE should feel included in their community!

Love of Literacy Gala – Americus GA – February 7, 2023

This event raises money for all children in Sumter County to receive a book/month from 0-5 years! Anna Moates was honored to be the speaker for this amazing event and not only share her love of reading but share about ALMOST TWINS and the message of friendship and inclusion! They raised over $10,000.00!!
